28 вересня о 18:00 у Лабораторії сучасного мистецтва “Мала Галерея” відбудеться відкриття виставки “Усвідомлене відчуття | Conscious sensation”.

Виставка “Усвідомлене відчуття | Conscious sensation” стала результатом роботи шести митців. Відправною точкою стали розмови про архіви, пам’ять, втрати й лакуни та можливість їхньої художньої репрезентації.

Проект розкриває різні аспекти фотографії як основного медіуму пам’яті: вона постає як слід, відбиток, неясний натяк. Ревізії підлягають і архіви, які цікавлять авторів не так як джерело інформації, скільки як поле історичних маніпуляцій та деперсоналізації досвіду.

Join us for the launch of “Conscious Sensation” exhibition on September 28, 6pm at the “Mala Gallery” Laboratory of Contemporary Art.

The exhibition “Conscious sensation” is the result of work of six artists – Andrii Dostliev, Olena Kovach, Maksim Finogeev, Kateryna Radchenko, Valerii Veduta and Kateryna Buchatska. The conversation about archives, memory, loss and gaps and the possibility of their artistic representation has become the starting point of the project.

The exhibition reveals various aspects of photography as the main medium of memory: it appears as a mark, a stamp, a vague hint. The archives are subject to revisions that are of interest to the authors not only as a source of information, but as a field of historical manipulation and depersonalization of experience. – Oksana Barshynova
